The catchphrase comes from Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, the 1989 comedy about two Californian teenagers who travel through time, played by Alex Winter as Bill and Keanu Reeves as Ted. Their shared shout of Excellent, often paired with an air-guitar riff, became the characters' signature reaction to anything they approved of. The louder edit simply boosts that moment for short videos, where a familiar movie quote can land instantly without needing the full scene. It remains popular because the reference is widely recognised and the delivery is instantly upbeat.

Bill and Ted shout 'Excellent' in a louder clip from their 1989 adventure film, used to celebrate a win, a clever idea or a perfect moment in videos.
This is a short, boosted burst of Bill and Ted yelling their signature catchphrase in unison, with both voices pushed louder and clearer than the original scene so the word lands with extra punch. It starts instantly, hits hard on the first syllable, and ends almost as quickly as it begins, leaving no room for a slow build. The delivery is enthusiastic, goofy and triumphant rather than angry, which is why it works as a reaction to something going right. Heard in an edit, it turns a small success into a celebration, making the viewer feel the joke and the victory at the same time.
