The sound comes from El Chavo del Ocho, the Mexican sitcom created by Roberto Gómez Bolaños that became a phenomenon across Latin America, especially in Brazil where it aired as Chaves. Chiquinha, played by María Antonieta de las Nieves, is central to its slapstick humor alongside Chaves himself. Clips of their laughter circulated for years on Brazilian social media and messaging apps, often captioned with 'kkk' for laughter, similar in spirit to a baby laughing meme shared purely for its contagious joy.

The classic Chaves and Chiquinha laughing scene from the El Chavo del Ocho TV show, a nostalgic 'kkk' laugh clip used for funny and wholesome meme edits.
This clip captures a playful exchange between Chaves and Chiquinha that dissolves into contagious laughter, marked by the Brazilian 'kkk' style of laughing written out in the title. The voices are high, childlike and instantly familiar to anyone who grew up with the series, with giggles overlapping and building in a way that feels spontaneous rather than performed. What makes it land is the innocence of the moment, two kids finding something hilarious together, which turns an ordinary reaction into a warm, funny punctuation that viewers recognize before they even process the joke.
