Discord launched in 2015 as a voice and text app for gamers, and its incoming call ringtone quickly became one of its most recognisable sounds alongside the Discord notification ping. Fans began remixing the simple discord call melody into longer loops and beats, sharing them across YouTube, TikTok and soundboards as a joke for fake calls and waiting screens. Because so many players hear the original daily, even a short remixed version instantly signals an online friend trying to reach you, which keeps it popular for gaming edits.

A remixed version of the Discord incoming call ringtone turned into a catchy meme beat. Creators use it for fake call intros, stream alerts and video edits.
The Discord Calling Remix takes the familiar bubbling ringtone you hear when someone calls you on Discord and stretches it into a ten second loop with added rhythm and bounce. The original chime is instantly recognisable, a soft electronic melody that rises and repeats, and the remix keeps that hook front and centre while making it feel more musical and playful. Played on its own it sounds like a call you actually want to answer. In videos it creates instant recognition, a little jolt of urgency and nostalgia for anyone who spends time in voice chats with friends.
