Exotic Butters comes from Five Nights at Freddy's Sister Location, released in 2016 by Scott Cawthon. HandUnit, the cheerful AI guide voiced by Andy Field, presents a basket of exotic butters as a company bonus, treating it as a serious reward. Players clipped the line and spread it across YouTube, streams and fan edits, often pairing it with the FNAF Jumpscare Scream for contrast. The phrase became an in-joke in the fandom, printed on fan merch and quoted whenever something random is offered as a prize, which keeps it circulating years later.

Exotic Butters is a HandUnit voice line from Five Nights at Freddy's Sister Location. Gamers use it as a random punchline in FNAF edits and meme videos.
This is the short clip of HandUnit cheerfully announcing exotic butters in Five Nights at Freddy's Sister Location. The line is delivered in a flat, robotic customer-service tone, completely serious while naming something totally absurd. It lasts just over a second and lands like a non sequitur with no setup or explanation. That contrast is why it sticks in your head. For viewers who know the game it triggers instant recognition, and for everyone else the sheer randomness and deadpan delivery make an ordinary moment feel unexpectedly funny and slightly surreal, as if the game itself is trolling you.
