His World is the main theme of Sonic the Hedgehog from 2006, while Live and Learn is the main theme of Sonic Adventure 2 from 2001, performed by Crush 40. Both tracks became defining anthems for Sonic fans, with their driving guitars and heroic choruses closely tied to the blue hedgehog's fastest, most dramatic moments. Versus edits that place two songs side by side became a popular fan format online, letting listeners compare energy, vocals and nostalgia in seconds. This clip works because both themes are instantly recognisable to longtime players.

This short clip sets two iconic Sonic songs against each other, cutting between the driving rock energy of His World and the anthemic chorus of Live and Learn. Guitars, pounding drums and soaring vocals build quickly, creating a sense of rivalry and escalation in under twenty seconds.
