John Cena is a WWE wrestler whose entrance theme The Time Is Now, released in 2005, became instantly recognisable for its blaring trumpet intro. The meme version, often captioned and his name is John Cenaaaaaa, exploded on Vine and YouTube in 2015 after prank edits began dropping the shout into unrelated clips at maximum volume. The joke relied on Cena never actually appearing, making any ordinary scene feel like a pay per view main event. It remains a staple surprise sound because almost everyone recognises it within the first second.

The iconic John Cena entrance announcement with blaring trumpets from WWE, used as a sudden surprise meme for unexpected entrances and jumpscare edits.
This is the full John Cena meme sting, built around a shouted announcement of his name followed immediately by his loud brass entrance theme. The trumpets hit hard and fast, turning a completely normal or quiet moment into a dramatic wrestling entrance. Part of the joke is how over the top it feels compared to what is on screen, especially when Cena himself never appears. The sudden volume and instant recognition make it work as both a punchline and a mini jumpscare that resets the energy of a video in a second.
