JonTron is the online persona of Jon Jafari, a YouTuber known since the early 2010s for comedic reviews of games and films, often with exaggerated reactions to on screen action. Clips of his lines have circulated for years as standalone reaction sounds on soundboards and in edited videos. This particular phrase became reusable because it describes a very common visual, anything moving upward, while his delivery makes it instantly recognisable. It remains popular in gaming edits and meme compilations where creators need a short burst of hype for a climb, rise or comeback.

JonTron saying look at dat climb in his excited commentary voice, a short reaction clip from his gaming videos used for climbing scenes and rising scores.
This clip captures JonTron delivering the line look at dat climb with exaggerated enthusiasm, stretching the words in his familiar high energy style. The phrase lands over gameplay as something ascends on screen, turning a simple rise into a comedic highlight. His inflection builds from observation to amazement, which makes the moment feel bigger than it is. Viewers recognise the delivery instantly and read it as playful hype rather than serious commentary. It works because the excitement is disproportionate, adding humour to an otherwise ordinary climb, jump or progress bar filling up.
