Metalocalypse is an Adult Swim animated series centered on Dethklok, a fictional death metal band whose music and onstage excess drive much of its dark comedy. The show frequently leans on guitar techniques from real metal playing, and the pinch harmonic, a squealing note made by striking a string in a particular way, fits its exaggerated sound world perfectly. As a standalone clip, the half-second squeal spread through soundboards and editing communities as a louder, funnier substitute for a plain censor bleep, especially in metal, gaming and meme edits where a standard tone would feel flat.

A short, squealing guitar pinch harmonic from Metalocalypse, used as a censor-style bleep for swearing in edits, memes and gaming clips for comedic effect.
This half-second clip is a single piercing guitar pinch harmonic from Metalocalypse, the animated series about the fictional death metal band Dethklok. Instead of a flat television bleep, it delivers a sharp, high-pitched squeal that bends upward and cuts off abruptly, sounding like a guitar string being pinched into feedback. The effect is instantly recognisable to metal fans and feels louder and funnier than a normal censor tone because it keeps the aggression of the music intact. Dropped over a swear word or an awkward pause, it turns the moment into a joke while still hiding the original word.
