Morshu is the shopkeeper from Link: The Faces of Evil and Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon, two Zelda games released for the Philips CD-i in 1993. His flat delivery of the lamp oil, rope and bombs sales pitch became a lasting internet meme, quoted and remixed long after the games faded from mainstream attention. The beatbox version continues that tradition, turning his instantly recognisable voice into a rhythmic joke that fits modern short-form videos. It survives because the character is so specific, yet the humour needs no explanation, making it easy to reuse in gaming edits.
