Pez globo is Spanish for pufferfish, and the phrase pez globo sonriendo, meaning smiling pufferfish, is how many viewers search for this clip. Rather than coming from a single well known film or show, it spread as a shareable meme sound through short videos and soundboards, where the cheerful fish image and the brief audio became linked. Creators reuse it as shorthand for goofy happiness, surprise and harmless absurdity, which keeps it circulating in edits, chats and reaction posts long after the first uploads appeared online.

The pez globo meme sound features a smiling pufferfish clip used in funny videos, edits and reaction posts for absurd, cheerful moments online.
This clip is built around the pez globo, the smiling pufferfish that became a reaction image online, paired with a short playful audio cue that makes the fish feel like it is grinning at the camera. The sound is light, bubbly and slightly silly, lasting just long enough to land as a punchline without taking over the video. Viewers instantly read it as cheerful and absurd, which is why the moment works even without context. It turns a simple animal clip into a shared joke about an unexpectedly happy face appearing at exactly the wrong time.
