Plankton is the tiny villain from SpongeBob SquarePants, and his exaggerated screams have been clipped for reaction edits for years on soundboards and short videos. This ahh version spread as a standalone meme sound alongside other goofy ahh sounds and the wider scream meme format, because the panicked tone works even without the original scene. Creators reuse it for fails, reveals and awkward pauses, and its length makes it easy to loop or cut short while still sounding instantly recognisable as Plankton in distress.

Plankton screaming ahh from SpongeBob SquarePants, a short panicked yell used for fails, jumpscares and over the top reaction memes online today.
This is Plankton letting out a long, strained ahh that rises in panic and sounds like he has just seen a plan collapse. The voice is squeaky and dramatic for such a tiny villain, which is what makes the clip land as comedy instead of real fear. Played over a character freezing, staring or getting caught, it instantly turns a small mistake into a huge meltdown. The nearly five second stretch gives editors room to hold the joke, letting the scream carry the embarrassment while the picture does very little.
