This is the extended opening of Mareux's The Perfect Girl, about fifteen seconds of dark synth, a soft faraway vocal and a pulsing bass line that rises slowly toward the beat. It feels cool, detached and brooding, like a character walking through a night city without looking back. The track found a second life in sigma and moody short-form edits.
