The phrase 'ty krysa' is Russian slang for 'you're a rat', and the clip circulates online as a short Russian-language meme sound for calling out betrayal. It is most often heard in short-form videos, gaming highlights, and reaction edits, where a single accusation can label a character or player without extra explanation. Its appeal comes from the blunt slang and the teasing delivery, which translate easily even for viewers who do not speak Russian. That simplicity has kept it in regular use for pranks, betrayals, and playful arguments.

A short Russian voice clip mockingly calling someone a rat, used as an accusation of betrayal. Creators drop it into gaming clips and reaction memes.
This short Russian clip lasts just over three seconds and centres on a single mocking line, delivered in a low, teasing male voice with the Russian slang interjection 'lya' before the accusation 'ty krysa', meaning 'you're a rat'. The delivery is slow and pointed rather than shouted, with a knowing, almost amused tone that makes the insult feel like a joke between friends as much as a call-out. That mix of playfulness and accusation gives it a sharp comic edge, instantly framing the person on screen as a traitor, snitch, or backstabber. It lands best when the listener already knows the context, turning a phrase into a punchline about betrayal.
