The clip takes its name from its Portuguese title, which pairs Christmas with vulgar humour, and it is credited to Csgappy in the soundboard listing. Beyond that listing, its wider origin is not documented, so it is best understood as a short online joke clip rather than a track from a known film, show or album. Its appeal comes from the seasonal contrast that drives many holiday memes: familiar Christmas imagery made funny by a sudden, rude twist. Creators tend to save it for December edits, reaction videos and festive compilations where the joke is recognisable to Portuguese-speaking viewers.

A short Portuguese comedy clip called Uma Merda de Natal by Csgappy, used as a rude festive joke in holiday memes and reaction edits during December.
Uma Merda de Natal by Csgappy is a short, deliberately crude Portuguese holiday clip that turns Christmas cheer upside down. Over roughly twenty-nine seconds, a playful, mocking vocal performance delivers the joke with exaggerated festive energy, mixing seasonal references with blunt, irreverent humour that lands best when the listener already expects something wholesome. The tone is cheeky rather than angry, and the punch comes from the contrast between Christmas warmth and the rude title. Played at the end of a holiday edit, it undercuts a sentimental moment and makes the audience laugh at the sudden switch from sweet to shameless.
