With no credited source or known character behind it, this scream spread as a generic user-uploaded soundboard clip named only for the noise itself. The stretched spelling mirrors how the yell sounds and helps it show up when people search for long scream effects. It stays in use because it needs no context to understand, works over any visual, and fills a longer gap than most short reaction sounds, making it a reliable pick for meme edits and reaction videos online.

A loud, drawn-out UUUUAAAAHHHH scream sound effect for shock, panic and over-the-top reaction moments in memes, edits and gaming videos online.
This is a raw, drawn-out human scream that starts with a deep UUUU and stretches into a loud AAAAAHHHHHH, holding the peak for over two seconds. There is no music or dialogue, just a single strained voice getting louder and more desperate as it goes. The length makes it feel bigger than a quick yelp, turning surprise into full panic. Viewers instantly read it as shock, pain or complete overreaction, which is why editors let it play out in full instead of cutting it short for comedic timing.
