The Bananas in Pyjamas theme song from the classic children's TV show, featuring B1 and B2 singing as they chase teddies and start their morning.

This clip is the opening theme from Bananas in Pyjamas, sung in Portuguese as Bananas de Pijamas. Two cheerful bananas in blue and white striped pyjamas sing about coming down the stairs together and chasing teddies on Tuesdays. The melody is simple, bouncy and instantly recognisable, with bright children's voices and a playful singalong chorus. Hearing it triggers strong nostalgia for morning television, because the tune was built to be remembered after one listen and hummed all day by kids who grew up watching B1 and B2.

Pro-tip

Trim to the first chorus for intros and keep the full 50 seconds only for a nostalgic montage. Place it under childhood photos or a morning routine reveal, lower dialogue underneath, and cut out before the verse repeats to keep the joke light.
