The jingle comes from Banjo-Kazooie, Rare's 1998 platformer for the Nintendo 64, with music by Grant Kirkhope. In the Freezeezy Peak world, the polar bear Boggy challenges Banjo to a sled race, and this short fanfare plays when Boggy crosses the finish line first. Like many N64-era stings, it was ripped by fans, uploaded to soundboards and passed around in gaming meme edits, where its smug winner's energy found a second life. It sits comfortably alongside other short game stings such as the GTA V notification sound.

The short victory jingle heard when Boggy the polar bear wins his sled race in Banjo-Kazooie. A Grant Kirkhope tune used for ironic wins and gaming fails.
This is the little victory fanfare that plays when Boggy the polar bear beats you in his sled race in Banjo-Kazooie. Lasting about three seconds, it is a bouncy, old-school Nintendo 64 jingle with a cheeky ascending melody and a smug final flourish, pure Grant Kirkhope charm. Because it celebrates the rival winning rather than the player, it lands as funny and slightly mocking instead of heroic. Hearing it instantly sparks nostalgia for Rare's 1998 classic while giving any clip a playful, cartoonish winner's moment.
