Diego Brando is the Steel Ball Run counterpart of Dio Brando, and in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure he wields The World, a Stand that can stop time for a few seconds. His shouted ZA WARUDO directly echoes Dio's famous time-stop cry from Stardust Crusaders, which fans turned into one of the series' most quoted moments. The line spread through JoJo edits, fighting-game clips and short-form memes, where the sudden freeze became shorthand for total control of a scene, and it remains a favourite for dramatic and comedic reveals.
Over dit geluid
Diego Brando shouts ZA WARUDO to stop time in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Editors use it for dramatic pauses, sudden reveals and meme punchlines.
This clip captures Diego Brando unleashing his Stand's time-stopping power, shouting the famous ZA WARUDO line before everything around him freezes in a tense, echoing silence. The delivery is dramatic and theatrical, rising to a sharp shout, then cutting into the hollow, slowed atmosphere of stopped time that fans instantly recognise from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. It creates an instant sense of power and anticipation, as if the scene is about to turn completely in Diego's favour, which is why it lands so well as a punchline or a sudden twist in a video.
