The clip comes from TerminalMontage's Something About Star Fox 64, a fast-paced animated parody of Nintendo's Star Fox games that reimagines Fox McCloud and his crew with exaggerated humour and deadpan delivery. Fans lifted Fox's brief, startled OH from the video and shared it as a standalone reaction sound on meme soundboards, where its brevity made it easy to drop into edits. Like the Oh My God Meme, it survives because it needs no context: one surprised voice instantly tells viewers something unexpected has just happened.
Over dit geluid
Fox McCloud's surprised 'OH' from TerminalMontage's Something About Star Fox 64, used as a reaction sound for sudden reveals and fails in memes and edits.
This is a short, sharp burst of surprise from Fox McCloud, delivered in the exaggerated, deadpan style of TerminalMontage's parody animation. It is just a single drawn-out 'OH', pitched high and a little frantic, with the kind of over-the-top cartoon energy that makes a small moment feel suddenly huge. There is no music or background noise behind it, just the voice landing and hanging for a second. That simplicity is why it works so well as a punchline: it instantly signals shock, realisation or a dawning mistake, and lets the audience feel the character's panic before the joke moves on.
