Funky ehh has circulated online as a meme sound rather than a clip tied to a single film, show or creator, which is why searchers find it by its odd name instead of a source. Its appeal comes from combining two familiar internet jokes, a cartoon fart and a deadpan vocal shrug, into one seven-second punchline that fits TikTok edits, reaction videos and gaming clips. Similar crude comedy sounds, including fart with reverb, travel in the same meme circles, where the joke depends less on where a sound began and more on how sharply it lands on a funny moment.
Over dit geluid
A funky fart sound mixed with a drawn-out ehh vocal, used as a silly punchline in memes and short-form videos for awkward reveals and gross-out jokes.
This short clip pairs a cartoonish, bubbly fart noise with a lazy, drawn-out ehh vocal, giving it a loose, funky rhythm that feels deliberately ridiculous rather than just gross. The fart lands first with a wet, sputtering burst, then the ehh stretches out behind it like a shrug, turning an embarrassing noise into a joke with timing. Played over a reaction shot or a failed stunt, it undercuts the moment instantly, making viewers laugh at the sheer silliness and the unexpected musical bounce. It works best as a quick punchline, not a long gag, because the joke is the contrast between the funky groove and the crude sound.
