This clip comes from a set of AI-generated intros for Mortal Kombat 1 created by Panda Man, reimagining Ghostface, the masked killer from the Scream films, in the fighting game's intro style. The waaz scream plays on the character's taunting phone-call persona, stretched into a long shriek that works as a horror jumpscare in short videos. Shared as a bite-sized soundboard clip, it spread among meme editors and streamers who wanted a recognisable villain voice for reveals, scares and over-the-top entrances, and it remains useful because the scream is instantly readable even without context.
Over dit geluid
Ghostface lets out a long, drawn-out waaz scream from a Mortal Kombat 1 AI intro, used in edits and memes for sudden scares and dramatic entrances.
This short clip captures Ghostface stretching the word waaz into a rising, panicked scream that keeps building until it almost breaks. It starts almost playful, like a taunting greeting, then the voice sharpens and stretches out, turning the joke into a sudden horror-movie jolt. The effect works because listeners expect a casual hello and instead get a full-throated shriek, which makes it perfect for jump cuts, reveals and moments when a character walks into danger. At under three seconds, it lands fast, grabs attention and leaves the scene feeling tense, funny and slightly unhinged.
