Over dit geluid

This 17-second clip is a sung self-introduction by the Globglogabgalab, a book-loving creature whose low, drawn-out voice rolls through his long name over a light, bouncy tune. It feels delightfully strange and slightly eerie, like a storybook character stepping out of place. It comes from the 2012 animated film Strawinsky and the Mysterious House.

Pro-tip

Let the name finish before you cut away, because the joke is the slow stretch of Globglogabgalab itself; showing the character at that exact moment makes the reveal feel deliberate instead of random.

Goed om te weten

Place it at the start of a reveal, then follow the entrance with Chipi Chipi Chapa Chapa for a second character moment, and save Coffin Dance Meme Sound for the final exit so the edit builds from introduction to punchline to send-off.

Veelgestelde vragen

Can I save the Globglogabgalab sound as a ringtone on my phone?

Yes, save the MP3 to your phone, then open your sound settings and choose it as your ringtone. On most phones you can also assign it to a specific contact for a memorable incoming call.

What kind of entrance works best with the Globglogabgalab introduction?

A slow, deliberate entrance works best, especially when someone appears in costume, steps into frame unexpectedly, or reveals a new character. The grand self-introduction suits a moment the audience is already watching closely.

Which sounds pair well after the Globglogabgalab reveal?

A playful meme song keeps the surreal mood going, while a dramatic exit sound gives the scene a clear ending. Avoid another long introduction straight after it, or the reveal loses its focus.
