The line comes from Grand Theft Auto V, released by Rockstar Games in 2013, and circulates from Mission 58, Fresh Meat, where Franklin rescues Michael from the Triads at a Los Santos meat factory. Clipped out of that tense rescue, the confession travels on its own as a meme sound online. Players and editors lift it because the phrasing is instantly understood in almost any context, turning a moment of character backstory into a universal, ironic explanation for why someone acts the way they do today.
