Over dit geluid

A sub-second voice clip of French rapper Kaaris saying the slang phrase bats les couilles in a flat, dismissive delivery, with no music behind it. It feels blunt, unbothered and slightly provocative, like an instant shrug to criticism or drama. The phrase is French slang for not caring at all.

Pro-tip

Use it as a full stop, not a lead-in: let the other person's line finish, hit it once, then cut to black or move on without adding your own comeback over it.

Goed om te weten

Place it at the end of a rant or complaint segment as the final response, then follow it with the Nelson Ha Ha sound if you want the dismissal to turn into mockery, or leave it as the last beat before the next scene.

Veelgestelde vragen

Can I save Kaaris bats les couilles as a notification tone?

Yes, save the MP3 from this page and set it as a notification tone in your phone settings. Its short spoken burst works best for messages and mentions rather than a full incoming call ringtone.

Will people who don't speak French still get the bats les couilles reaction?

Most will, because the flat delivery and timing sell the attitude even without the words. Add a caption or reaction face in edits if your audience is mostly outside French-speaking circles.

What should I pair with bats les couilles for a two-part reply?

Pair it after the other person's complaint and before a laugh track style sound for mockery. Keep it as the closing line, since adding more speech after it weakens the dismissive payoff.
