Khabib Nurmagomedov is a retired Dagestani mixed martial artist and former UFC lightweight champion who finished his career undefeated at 29-0. His clipped English, direct answers in interviews and press conferences, and phrases about smashing opponents became widely clipped by MMA fans. As short-form sports edits spread on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram, this line moved beyond fight promotion into general meme use. It now signals total indifference to opinions and total confidence in the outcome, which keeps it popular for gym, gaming and comeback videos.
Over dit geluid
Khabib Nurmagomedov saying who cares we smash in his thick Dagestani accent, a short UFC voice clip used for confident fight and sports edits.
This is Khabib Nurmagomedov delivering his blunt line about not caring and smashing the opponent, spoken calmly in his heavy Dagestani accent. The clip is short and flat in delivery, which makes the threat sound even funnier and more certain. There is no anger or shouting, just quiet confidence from an undefeated fighter who expects to dominate. Viewers hear it as both intimidating and absurd, so a serious sports quote instantly becomes a punchline when it is dropped over ordinary arguments, workouts, games, or any moment where someone acts completely unbothered.
