Ladushki is a traditional Russian folk rhyme for very young children, passed down through families rather than written by a known author. The full text is a call and response about visiting grandmother, eating porridge and drinking curdled milk, usually sung while an adult claps a child's hands in time. Because almost every Russian speaking child learns it early, short clips circulate widely on soundboards and in chats as an in joke. Online, the familiar opening is reused out of context for nostalgia, gentle mockery and absurd contrast.
