Vel'Koz is a champion in League of Legends, Riot Games' team-based multiplayer online battle arena game, where he appears as the Eye of the Void, a tentacled creature that studies and disassembles other lifeforms to understand them. His voice lines and in-game sounds have circulated for years among players who clip champion audio for montages, streams and short-form videos. The character's cold, alien personality keeps the sound recognisable to League fans even outside a match, which is why it still appears in gameplay edits and reaction content today.

A short Vel'Koz sound clip from League of Legends, featuring the Eye of the Void champion. Fans use it for gameplay edits, streams and void-themed memes.
This short League of Legends clip captures Vel'Koz, the tentacled Eye of the Void, in his cold, analytical and unsettling voice. His speech sounds distant, distorted and strangely calm, as if an alien intelligence is studying everything it sees, which makes the moment feel eerie rather than loud or comedic. That contrast is what gives the sound its punch in edits: it lands suddenly, breaks the mood, and makes a normal scene feel ominous, alien or absurdly serious for a few seconds.
