The exact source of this particular scream is unverified, but clips like it have circulated on meme soundboards and editing discords for years, passed around whenever a creator needs a big, funny shock. Its popularity grew alongside gaming reaction channels, where a loud scream over a wipeout or jump scare reliably boosts engagement. Creators pair it with exaggerated zooms and captions, and it sits comfortably beside staples like the classic scream meme in any prank or fail compilation toolkit.
Over dit geluid
A loud, comedic scream sound effect used in memes and reaction videos. Creators drop it over fails, jump scares and prank reveals for instant laughs.
The clip opens with a sudden, full-throated scream that is all volume and zero danger, more theatrical than terrifying. It cracks and wavers just enough to stay funny, like someone startled by their own shadow and committed to the bit. At just over six seconds it has room to build, peak and tail off, so it lands like a mini performance rather than a quick shock. Played over a video, it turns any clumsy fall, glitch or surprise into a cartoon moment, and viewers feel the laugh coming before the scream even ends.
