Over dit geluid

This 3.7-second clip is the bim bom chime that plays over the Mojang splash screen in the 3D shareware-style mode. Its two bright notes feel playful and nostalgic, like a loading screen announcing something silly is about to start. It comes from Minecraft Java Edition and its April Fools' 2019 update.

Veelgestelde vragen

Can I save the Minecraft splash sound as an MP3?

Yes, you can save it as an MP3 from this page and play it offline on your phone, which is handy when you want the chime ready for a live gaming joke without opening a browser each time.

What pairs well with the bim bom splash for a Minecraft edit?

It pairs best at the opening, followed by a goofy fail sound for your first death or mistake. That order sets up a proper game start, then undercuts it for comedy your audience expects.

Will Minecraft fans recognise the bim bom moment instantly?

Most Java Edition players who remember the 2019 April Fools mode will recognise it straight away. Newer players may just hear a retro loading chime, but the splash timing makes the reference clear in context.
