Gromit is the silent, loyal dog from the Wallace and Gromit stop-motion series, where cheese is a running joke and a constant source of delight for his inventor owner. That association makes a simple cheese name instantly funny to fans, even without dialogue or a longer scene. On soundboards and in short-form edits, the clip circulates as a compact reaction sound, shared for food humour and affectionate nostalgia for the characters. Its brevity and unmistakable cheese reference keep it easy to reuse across memes.
Over dit geluid
A short Gromit meme sound of a drawn-out ooooooo gorgonzola, used as a silly cheese reaction in edits, food jokes and Wallace and Gromit clips.
The clip stretches a single delighted ooooooo into a punchline before landing on the word gorgonzola, delivered in the warm, expressive style associated with Gromit and the cheese-loving world of Wallace and Gromit. It lasts just under five seconds, so the joke lands quickly: a long, rising vocal swell, a brief pause for anticipation, then the cheese name itself, spoken with comic relish. Played over a reaction shot or a food reveal, it turns an ordinary moment into something absurd and affectionate, making viewers smile at the sheer silliness of treating one strong cheese like a grand discovery.
