Rawr has been used online for years as a playful dinosaur noise, often linked to the joke phrase rawr means I love you in dinosaur. As TikTok made short reusable audios central to posting, the sound was clipped into a brief effect that creators could reuse for pets, costumes, babies and flirty edits. Its appeal is that it needs no setup or explanation, the word itself carries the joke, so it keeps circulating in new trends whenever a cute but pretend scary moment fits a video.
Over dit geluid
The rawr TikTok sound effect is a short playful dinosaur roar people drop into cute edits, flirty jokes, pet videos and funny surprise moments.
The sound is a short, high-pitched human voice saying rawr in a cute dinosaur impression, stretched into a playful little roar rather than a scary one. It lands somewhere between flirting, teasing and pretending to be fierce, which is why it feels funny instead of threatening. In a clip it usually appears on its own with a pause before it, so the contrast between a normal face and the sudden tiny roar does the work. Viewers read it instantly as playful and a bit cheeky, perfect for someone acting tough while clearly being adorable.
