Rules of Nature is the boss theme from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, released in 2013, where it plays during the fight against Metal Gear RAY. Composed by Jamie Christopherson with vocals by Jason Charles Miller, the track became widely quoted online for its opening chorus and the shouted laws of the wild line. Clips of animals running, game characters fleeing and over-the-top chases helped turn it into a shorthand for sudden survival action, and it remains popular in edits long after the game launched.
Over dit geluid
The Rules of Nature chorus from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, with the singer belting about running at sunrise and following the laws of the wild.
This is a loud, high-energy rock chorus driven by electric guitars, pounding drums and a strained male vocal that stretches out words like alive and wild. The singer delivers the lines about animals and people running at sunrise with their lives on the line, building from a tense verse feel into a full shout. It lands as pure adrenaline, the kind of sudden intensity that makes an ordinary chase, fight or escape feel like a boss battle. The drawn-out final note gives editors a clear peak to cut on or let ring out.
