Swish Swish is a 2017 song by Katy Perry featuring Nicki Minaj, released as a confident, basketball-themed pop track about rising above rivals. Its title phrase and upbeat hook made it easy to lift into short edits, and the clip travelled through meme pages and video platforms as a shorthand for a win or a clapback. Because the phrase is short, rhythmic and instantly understood, creators still reach for it years later to punctuate a triumph without explaining the joke.
Over dit geluid
The Swish Swish sound from Katy Perry's song featuring Nicki Minaj, used as a meme audio for wins, comebacks and confident moments in edits and reactions.
This short clip captures the catchy hook from Katy Perry's Swish Swish, built around the repeated swish swish phrase over a bouncy pop beat. It sounds bright, confident and instantly recognisable, with a rhythmic bounce that makes it feel like a victory lap in audio form. Played on its own, it lands as a quick burst of attitude, turning a small win into a bigger moment and giving an edit a playful, swaggering finish. Its brevity is part of the appeal, as listeners get the joke immediately without needing the full song.
