Talking Ben comes from Outfit7's Talking Tom and Friends franchise, first popularised through the Talking Ben the Dog mobile app where players could poke the retired chemistry professor dog and hear him repeat phrases in a gruff voice. His ho ho ho laugh and blunt no became a staple reaction sound on social media, shared as a short standalone clip for jokes and edits. The pairing spread because it works without context, letting creators answer almost any prompt with a laugh followed by an immediate refusal.

Talking Ben saying ho ho ho no is a short meme voice clip from the Talking Ben app. It is used for funny refusals, jokes and reaction edits online.
This clip features Talking Ben, the gruff dog from the Talking Tom and Friends apps, delivering his familiar ho ho ho laugh before a flat no in a deep, deadpan voice. The sound is short and instantly recognisable, with the cheerful laugh suddenly undercut by the blunt refusal. That contrast is what makes it land as a joke, turning a simple answer into a comedic rejection. Viewers hear the setup as friendly and the payoff as dismissive, which makes the moment perfect for quick reaction cuts where a polite laugh would feel too kind.
