Ben is the dog character from the Talking Ben mobile app, part of the Talking Tom and Friends series, where players can talk to him, poke him and get blunt, often unhelpful replies. Clips of those replies spread through short-form video and meme edits, where creators isolated single words and reactions for comedic timing. The nah stands out because it is short, instantly recognisable and easy to drop into almost any conversation, which keeps it in circulation long after the original app's peak as a quick, universal rejection.
Over dit geluid
Talking Ben's dismissive 'nah' from the mobile game, used in memes and edits to reject an idea, shut down a suggestion, or deliver a deadpan no.
This short clip captures Ben, the grumpy retired chemistry professor dog from Talking Ben, answering with a flat, unimpressed nah. His voice is low, gravelly and deliberately drawn out, with almost no rise or fall, which makes the refusal feel weary rather than angry. The delivery lands as a perfect deadpan punchline because Ben sounds completely unbothered, as if he has heard the idea before and already decided against it. In an edit, that tired tone turns a simple no into a joke, letting the viewer feel the dismissal instantly without any extra explanation or setup.
