The clip features Astarion, the vampire spawn companion from Baldur's Gate 3, the 2023 role-playing game by Larian Studios, voiced by Neil Newbon. Short Astarion voice lines became a staple of fan edits after the game's release, as players clipped his flirtatious delivery for TikTok, YouTube and Discord reactions. This uwu rawr in particular caught on because it compresses his charm into a single playful moment, making it easy to reuse across thirst edits, cosplay videos and meme replies without needing game context.

Astarion's playful uwu vampire rawr from Baldur's Gate 3, voiced by Neil Newbon. Fans use it for thirst edits, reaction memes and flirty clips.
This short clip captures Astarion, the charismatic vampire spawn from Baldur's Gate 3, leaning into a soft, teasing uwu before letting out a playful rawr. Delivered by Neil Newbon in a low, flirtatious tone, it sounds less like a threat and more like a wink, with a brief purr-like edge that makes the vampire charm feel deliberately silly. In just under two seconds it flips Astarion's usual danger into something cute and self-aware, which is why it lands so well as a reaction. Listeners hear the joke instantly, even without context, because the contrast between a centuries-old vampire and a cutesy internet sound does all the work.
