Darling in the Franxx premiered in 2018 as a mecha anime centred on child pilots and their partners. Zero Two, codenamed 002, and Hiro, codenamed 016, became its most recognisable pairing, and short clips tied to them travelled widely on anime soundboards and social edits. This Italian cosa sono clip survives apart from any single scene because the question is understood even without context. Fans reuse it for reveals, odd designs and moments where a character, or the audience, needs a second to process what appeared.
Over dit geluid
A short Italian anime clip from Darling in the Franxx featuring Zero Two and Hiro, used for confused reactions and meme edits about strange creatures.
An eight second voice clip built around the Italian question cosa sono, meaning what are they, delivered with genuine puzzlement. The line lands over a Darling in the Franxx reference tied to Zero Two and Hiro, so the confusion feels tied to seeing something alien for the first time. The delivery is short, clear and a little bewildered rather than panicked, which makes the moment easy to read instantly. Viewers hear curiosity mixed with disbelief, and that small pause before understanding makes it perfect for underlining a reveal that does not quite make sense yet.
