The exact origin of this clip is unclear, as it comes from a user-uploaded soundboard collection rather than a credited film or show. Short distorted horror voices like this one circulate widely online, shared between creators who need a quick scare without dialogue or music. It has found a steady audience among Halloween editors, horror gamers and prank makers, who reuse it year after year. Its staying power comes from simplicity: a wordless, ghostly vocal works in almost any spooky context.
Over dit geluid
A creepy, echoing spooky voice sound effect with a dark horror-movie feel. Creators use it for jump scares, Halloween edits and haunted house scenes.
This is a short horror voice clip, just under five seconds long, built around a dark, distorted vocal layered with echo and reverb. The voice sounds ghostly and inhuman, drifting between a low whisper and a hollow moan, with a cold, cavernous quality that feels like something speaking from an empty room. There is no music or background noise, only the unsettling vocal texture itself. Played over a quiet scene, it instantly raises tension and gives viewers a chill, making it feel like a presence has just entered the frame.
