Deltarune is the episodic role-playing game by Toby Fox, first released in 2018. Its hero Kris is a silent protagonist, so the fandom has spent years imagining what they would sound like, from fan dubs to animatics. Clips like this circulate on soundboards because creators want a ready-made Kris voice for memes, streams and comic dubs. The appeal is the contrast: after hours of a mute hero, one spoken line feels like breaking the fourth wall, keeping it popular in Deltarune meme culture. It sits naturally beside other game character voice memes like the CJ line from GTA San Andreas.
O tym dźwięku
A fan-made voice clip imagining how Kris from Deltarune sounds. Fans use it in meme edits, animatics and roleplay videos with the silent protagonist.
This clip gives a voice to Kris, the famously silent protagonist of Deltarune, Toby Fox's role-playing game. Since Kris never speaks in the game itself, hearing any voice attached to them feels instantly surprising and a little uncanny, which is exactly why fans love it. The short spoken line imagines what Kris might sound like, lending the quiet teen a sudden burst of personality. Dropped into a video, it lands like a punchline: viewers who know the game do a double take, while newcomers just hear a memorable character moment. It works best as a quick accent in Deltarune edits, animatics and streams, adding humor and warmth.
