Unit-01 is the biomechanical Evangelion piloted by Shinji Ikari in Neon Genesis Evangelion, the influential anime series created by Hideaki Anno that first aired in Japan in 1995. When the unit enters its berserk state, it moves without pilot control and attacks with animal ferocity, and its roar has become shorthand for that uncontrolled power. The clip spread through anime music videos, fan edits and short-form reaction videos, where it is reused to mark moments of overwhelming force, and it remains popular because Evangelion itself continues to attract new viewers decades later.
O tym dźwięku
The berserk roar of Evangelion Unit-01, a guttural mechanical scream from Neon Genesis Evangelion used for intense anime edits and dramatic reveals.
This is the raw, animalistic scream Unit-01 unleashes when it breaks free of control in Neon Genesis Evangelion, a sound that blends a beast-like bellow with grinding metal, tearing servos and a deep, distorted growl. It starts abruptly, rises into a sustained, almost painful howl, and ends with a ragged, echoing tail that makes a scene feel suddenly dangerous and out of control. Editors use it as a shock accent because it instantly signals a power surge, a loss of restraint, or a moment when a quiet character finally snaps.
