Griffpatch is one of the most followed creators on Scratch, the block based coding platform created by MIT for young programmers. He is known for advanced projects like Paper Minecraft and for his YouTube tutorials where hello fellow Scratchers became his signature opening line. As his tutorials reached millions of learners, the greeting turned into an in joke across the Scratch community and was clipped for soundboards, remixes and parody intros by fans who grew up coding with his projects.
