The greeting became famous through Kermode and Mayo's Film Review on BBC Radio 5 Live, where critic Mark Kermode would say hello to Jason Isaacs during the show. Isaacs, known for roles including Lucius Malfoy in Harry Potter and Captain Hook in Peter Pan, was a friend and listener, and the shout-out turned into a running catchphrase. Listeners began repeating it at screenings, in messages and online, and the short clip now circulates as a soundboard staple for film fans who treat the line as a shared sign of recognition.
O tym dźwięku
A short voice clip saying hello to Jason Isaacs, from the Kermode and Mayo film review greeting that fans use as a friendly meme sound effect.
This is a brief spoken greeting directed at actor Jason Isaacs, delivered in a warm, cheerful tone as if spotting a friend across a room. The clip is just the phrase itself, clean and upbeat, with no music or background noise to distract from the words. Its charm comes from how oddly specific it feels out of context, turning a simple hello into a small in-joke. Played for someone who recognises the reference, it lands as friendly and knowing, while for everyone else it sounds like a polite but mysteriously enthusiastic welcome.
