Gucci Gang was released in 2017 by American rapper Lil Pump, born Gazzy Garcia, as a single from his self titled debut album. The track reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100 despite its very short length and a hook built on repeating the same two words. Its simplicity made it easy to parody, remix and copy, and it spread quickly through memes, reaction videos and games like Roblox where users upload short audio clips. It remains the song most closely associated with the SoundCloud rap era.
