The clip is listed as a Gabriel Iglesias sound, the American stand-up comedian known for his animated delivery and for turning everyday names and situations into running jokes. Short excerpts from his performances have long circulated online as reaction sounds, because his vocal timing translates well outside the original routine. This particular shout works on its own, with no context needed, which is why editors reuse it to call out a specific person by name. Its brevity and instantly recognisable tone have kept it in rotation for memes, edits and group-chat jokes.
O tym dźwięku
Gabriel Iglesias stretches out the name Martin in this short comedy clip, perfect for calling someone out or reacting to a friend ignoring you in a video.
This is a one-second burst of Gabriel Iglesias calling out the name Martin, stretching the middle vowel until it sounds both exasperated and affectionate at the same time. His voice rises and drags, turning a simple name into a joke in itself, the kind of drawn-out shout you use when someone is not listening or has just done something ridiculous. Because it is so short and instantly recognisable, it lands immediately without needing any setup, and listeners tend to smile before they even know why. It works as a playful summons, a mock scolding, or a way to single someone out in a crowd.
