Mew Mew Power is the localized title of Tokyo Mew Mew, the magical-girl anime about five girls infused with endangered-animal DNA who fight aliens as a cat-themed team. This clip comes from the French version of its theme song, whose lyrics praise Mew Mew style and grace and declare that being a cat is cute. The French dub kept the show's bubbly early-2000s pop sound, and the theme became a nostalgia trigger for viewers who caught the series on children's television. Today fans replay the hook in anime edits, cosplay videos and French-dub appreciation posts.
