Mr Skeltal is an internet meme built around a cartoon skeleton playing a trumpet, with the doot doot phrase mimicking the instrument. The character spread through social media posts, reaction images and short videos, especially around Halloween, where users shared it as a friendly greeting from the skeleton. Its simple sound and instantly recognisable image helped it move beyond a single post into a recurring seasonal joke. Today creators still reuse it because it delivers a spooky reference without being frightening, making it easy to drop into memes, edits and Halloween content year after year.
