Seu Madruga is the Brazilian name for Don Ramón, the perpetually unemployed tenant in El Chavo del Ocho, broadcast in Brazil as Chaves since the 1980s and rerun for decades. His dubbed voice became part of everyday Brazilian humour, with short exclamations like nossa clipped and shared long before modern soundboards. Nossa is a common Portuguese expression of surprise, similar to wow, and in his weary delivery it signals disbelief rather than excitement. Fans still circulate these lines in WhatsApp groups, edits and reaction videos as shorthand for stunned disbelief.

Seu Madruga saying nossa in the Brazilian dub of Chaves, used as a surprised reaction sound for funny, shocked or unbelievable moments online.
This is Seu Madruga delivering his drawn out nossa reaction, instantly recognisable to anyone who grew up with Chaves in Brazil. The delivery is tired, disbelieving and a little exasperated, stretching the word just long enough to land as a punchline by itself. It works because the character is famous for complaining about rent, bad luck and impossible situations, so the sound carries that whole attitude in a few seconds. Played over a fail, a surprise reveal or an awkward pause, it makes the moment feel bigger, funnier and unmistakably Brazilian.
