Pet Gras 1 comes from user-generated soundboard culture, where short fart clips are uploaded under playful French-inspired labels and shared as quick prank noises rather than as clips from a film or show. The name combines pet, the French word for a fart, with gras, meaning fat, suggesting a large, exaggerated blast. With no clear original recording or creator attached, it has circulated mainly as a reusable meme sound, picked up by editors who want an instantly recognisable gag for reaction videos, TikTok-style edits and chat jokes, where brevity and surprise matter more than realism.
O tym dźwięku
A short, wet fart sound effect known as Pet Gras 1, used in prank videos, memes and reaction edits to punctuate an awkward, silly or embarrassing moment.
Pet Gras 1 is a very short, cartoonish fart noise, just over a second long, with a wet, bubbling blast that lands instantly and then stops abruptly. It sounds exaggerated rather than realistic, closer to a comedy sound effect than a natural recording, which makes it easy to drop over a visual gag without any explanation. Listeners recognise it immediately as a prank cue, and the sudden, crude noise usually triggers a laugh, a grimace, or a surprised reaction, especially when it arrives at an unexpected moment in a clip.
