Wololo originates in Age of Empires from 1997, where priest units chant it while converting enemy units, whose colour then changes to the player's colour. The sound became a long running gaming meme for brainwashing and team switching, often paired with a priest image and a rising chant edit. The roses version builds on the familiar roses are red, violets are blue rhyme, swapping the expected second line for the chant so a red rose can be jokingly converted to blue, which explains the red and blue wording in the title.

The Roses Are Red Wololo sound effect from Age of Empires, where a priest converts a red unit to blue with his iconic chant for funny meme edits.
This short clip pairs the classic roses are red poem setup with the Wololo chant from an Age of Empires priest mid conversion. A voice delivers the line, the chant cuts in, and the colour flips from red to blue as if the rose itself has been converted to the other team. The joke lands in just over a second because the chant instantly signals a forced change of allegiance. It feels abrupt, nerdy and oddly powerful, turning a sweet Valentine style rhyme into a gaming punchline about mind control.
