Rock n Roll Racing launched in 1993 as a combat racer for the SNES and Sega Genesis, developed by Silicon and Synapse before the studio became Blizzard Entertainment. Its defining feature was the over-the-top race commentary performed by Larry Huffman, whose rapid-fire warnings and jokes became some of the most quoted retro game voice lines online. The mine warning belongs to that tradition of tactical alert clips, sitting comfortably beside tactical warning voice lines like bomb has been planted and alert-style clips such as danger alarm sound effect meme in gaming edits and memes.
O tym dźwięku
A short announcer voice line from Rock n Roll Racing (1993) warning a driver to avoid mines. Creators use it as a comic alert for risky plays in gaming clips.
This is a brief slice of in-game commentary from Rock n Roll Racing, the fast, combat-heavy racer where mines, missiles and oil slicks turn every lap into chaos. Delivered in the announcer's booming, excitable tone, the line warns that a driver should avoid mines, landing like a coach shouting from the sidelines. The delivery is punchy and slightly campy, which is exactly why it works: dropped over modern gameplay, it turns a careless mistake or a near miss into a joke, making viewers grin at the retro drama of a decades-old warning.
